Alastair Beattie
I worked in the English National Health Service (NHS) with data, its users and the processes that produce it from 1981 to 2026. In 2018 I retired from full-time work as Head of Information and Statistics for Northumbria Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust, after which I worked part-time until 2026. These articles are an attempt to share my observations and what I have learnt about the NHS, so that others might find something that helps them to make faster progress with their work and in their roles.
